Joni began her career as a marriage and family therapist and has managed a private practice in this field for over 35 years. She has worked as a supervisor and consultant in substance abuse treatment, for businesses and as co-founder and clinical director of Alternatives. She is trained in hypnotherapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), motivational interviewing, psychodrama and other technologies. Joni has been a member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists since 1971.

Bill began his career in the field as a team leader providing drug abuse alternatives and prevention programs as well as treatment services and education in rural Fresno County. Then he was Merced County Alcohol and Drug Program Administrator. He went on to become Sonoma County’s Drug Program Analyst. He was Associate Executive Director of The R House in Santa Rosa (a residential, adolescent alcohol and drug treatment program). From 1991 to 1998 he was School Administrator and Special Programs Developer for Our Family Recovery Center in Napa. He joined Alternatives in 1998 as Chief Information Officer and later spent eleven years as Executive Director.
Bill Krimm has been working in the human services field since the late 60‘s. Most of this has been in mental health and substance abuse. His graduate education is in Developmental Psychology and he is a certified Domestic Violence facilitator. He is trained in several personal development and Parenting approaches. He believes that we often turn the inevitable pain in life into suffering because we don’t’ know other ways to handle it and because of beliefs or habits we have that aren’t true or don’t work. There are simple ideas which can improve our lives, but they aren’t always easy to do. Bill leads classes in managing difficult emotions and in parenting skills.
Mark is a Certified Clinical Supervisor and a Registered Addiction Specialist. For eleven years he was Clinical Director at the Wolfe Center in Napa. Before that he held positions at the Napa County Health and Human Services Agency including Supervisor of the Adult Drug Court, the Parolee Services Network Case Management Program, Proposition 36 Re-entry Case Management Program, Adult Day Programs for Alcohol and Drug Division, Mental Health Division Psychiatric Medication, Drinking Driver and Drug Diversion Programs, Adult Day Treatment Programs for Mental Health, Mental Health Division Psychiatric Emergency Services and Child Protective Services.
